As parents ourselves, we understand the unique anxieties and uneasiness that children often have when it comes to visiting the dentist. That is why our team tailors’ dental services to the age of patients and is especially sensitive to our youngest patients’ worries and concerns. A visit to the dentist should always be a relaxed and comfortable experience, and we do our very best to provide the highest level of care possible in a friendly, caring, comfortable and relaxed environment so that our youngest patients leave feeling excited and enthusiastic about carrying on their oral health journey.

The Lume Dental team believes that children should start on their oral health journey from a young age to help prepare them for a lifetime of good oral care and hygiene! We follow the Canadian Dental Association’s recommendation that children have an assessment by a dentist by one year of age, or within 6 months of the eruption of their first tooth, whichever comes first. Lume Dental is pleased to offer complimentary “Happy Visits” to children under the age of 4. This is a great way to introduce your child to the clinic atmosphere and what happens during a dental visit, as well as allow them to become comfortable with the entire dental office experience!
